Booking & Cancellation Guide
We understand that booking a retreat often involves planning ahead — flights, time off work, and coordinating life around your trip. We also understand that unexpected things can happen.
As our retreats run with small groups and require significant advance planning, we need a cancellation policy that protects both participants and the viability of our retreats. At the same time, we aim to be as supportive and fair as possible if plans change.
If unforeseen circumstances arise, please get in touch — we always try to approach situations with kindness and understanding wherever possible.
Refunds
In the unlikely event of a retreat being cancelled by Finca Ara Oko / Bombo Productions, participants will receive a full refund of any retreat payments made.
Please note that we cannot accept liability for additional costs incurred outside of the retreat itself, such as flights, travel arrangements, accommodation booked elsewhere, or other personal expenses.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
Deposits
A £150 / €150 non-refundable deposit secures your place.
Deposits are non-refundable as they allow us to confirm accommodation, teachers, venue arrangements and retreat costs in advance.
If you need to cancel
Refunds are calculated according to the amount of notice given before the retreat start date:

| 35–74 days | 50% refund |
| 20–34 days | 10% refund |
| 15–19 days | 5% refund |

If we are able to refill your place from a waiting list, we will always do our best to support you where possible.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellation, illness, travel disruption, and other unforeseen circumstances.
Travel insurance can protect you if unexpected situations prevent you from attending.
Liability
Participants are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own personal safety, wellbeing and belongings throughout the retreat.
Vehicles parked at Finca Ara Oko are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
While we do our best to provide a safe and supportive environment, Finca Ara Oko and Bombo Productions cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury arising from circumstances beyond our control.
Care of the Space & Breakages
Finca Ara Oko is both our home and a shared creative space, and we kindly ask all guests to treat it with care and respect.
We understand that accidents can happen. If anything is damaged or broken during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can resolve it together.
Guests may be asked to contribute towards the cost of repair or replacement in cases of significant damage or negligence. Normal wear and tear or unforeseen malfunctions are, of course, excluded.
