Accommodation at Finca Ará Oko

Finca Ará Oko is a traditional off-grid Andalusian farmhouse, full of original character and charm, nestled in the spectacular mountains of La Alpujarra, Granada. The property offers a variety of accommodation across separate living spaces, as well as two spacious bell tents for guests who enjoy being closer to nature.

Surrounded by almond groves, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains, the finca offers a peaceful setting for retreats, holidays and creative gatherings.

The grounds include three terraces, one shaded by a pergola, a plunge pool courtyard and a long covered porch. The property is powered by solar energy and uses a water filtration system.

Guests can book individual rooms as part of our organised retreats, or hire the entire property to host their own retreat or group event.

La Casa del Porche

The Porch House has its own private entrance, a small kitchen, bathroom and a spacious covered porch overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

The porch is a favourite gathering place for outdoor meals, quiet relaxation and enjoying the beautiful views. Guests also have access to the plunge pool and terraces, with space for yoga, reading, relaxing in a hammock and watching spectacular sunrises.

Apartamento junto a la piscina

Two bedrooms | Sleeps up to 3

Situated beside the plunge pool courtyard, the Poolside Apartment is one of the coolest areas of the finca during the summer months.

The apartment has recently been reconfigured into two separate single bedrooms, each with its own independent entrance. The rooms are separated by a wooden door and shutters, so some sound may travel between them.

Ala Oeste

One bedroom | Sleeps up to 2

The West Wing is one of our newer accommodation spaces, offering stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding almond groves.

The bedroom can be arranged with either one double bed or two separate single beds, making it suitable for a couple, two friends sharing or a guest who prefers single occupancy.

Guests staying in the West Wing use the shared bathroom in the Main House, which is approximately a 30-second walk away.

Casa Principal

The Main House offers two bedrooms with double beds, all with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

The house has a bathroom, an additional toilet, a large kitchen and a comfortable living room.

Guests also have access to the finca’s outdoor terraces and communal areas. Access to certain spaces may depend on whether other guests are staying at the property.

Glamping

Two bell tents | Sleeps up to 4 in total

Our glamping area offers two spacious 4-metre bell tents, each accommodating up to two guests.

Comfortable and welcoming, the tents provide a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the natural surroundings of Finca Ará Oko, with spectacular mountain views and the tranquillity of rural Andalusia.

Guests have access to shared bathroom facilities, including our outdoor shower.

Outdoor Shower

Enjoy showering in the fresh mountain air, surrounded by the natural beauty of the finca.

Workshop Space

Our covered outdoor workshop space provides a welcoming environment for music, movement and group activities.

The space can accommodate approximately 10 people for dancing or yoga, or up to 15 people seated in a circle for music workshops and percussion sessions.
